Luc Fitzpatrick

Having graduated in law from the University of Glasgow, Luc brought with him a strong academic grounding and a clear ambition to build his career in criminal defence. He chose The Glasgow Law Practice to begin his legal career, drawn by the firm’s reputation as one of Glasgow’s leading criminal defence practices.

Since joining the firm Luc has immersed himself in the day to day work of a busy criminal litigation team and has quickly established himself as a capable and confident presence in the courtroom. He appears daily in both the Justice of the Peace court and the Sheriff court, conducting summary level proceedings and ensuring that clients are properly represented at every stage of their case.

Beyond the courtroom, Luc is regularly involved in the full range of criminal defence work. He attends police interviews to protect the interests of clients at the critical early stages of an investigation and represents clients at VIPER identification parades.

For the most serious cases prosecuted at the High Court of Justiciary, Luc regularly instructs Counsel, ensuring clients have the strongest possible representation when it matters most.
In a short period of time Luc has demonstrated a maturity and dedication that belies his stage of training and he is widely regarded as a valuable member of our criminal defence team.
