Lewis Faulds

Having completed his traineeship at a large firm in the east of Scotland, Lewis joined The Glasgow Law Practice in 2025, bringing with him a solid foundation in criminal law and a determination to develop his practice at the highest level. In the time since joining the firm he has established himself as a reliable and skilled presence in the courtroom.

Lewis appears in court every day, carrying out both summary and Sheriff and Jury work on behalf of his clients. He has quickly become a prominent member of our Sheriff and Jury team, preparing and presenting solemn level cases on a daily basis, both in
Glasgow and across the country, and has built a strong and consistent record of success that has earned the trust of clients and the respect of his colleagues.

Lewis’s work extends well beyond the courtroom. He regularly attends police interviews to safeguard the interests of clients at the earliest stages of an investigation, represents clients at VIPER identification parades, and travels to visit clients held in prisons across the country, ensuring they are properly advised and supported throughout the course of their case.

For the most serious and complex cases prosecuted at the High Court of Justiciary, Lewis regularly instructs Counsel, ensuring that his clients are represented at the highest level when the stakes are at their greatest. He makes effective use of technology in his case preparation, ensuring that even the most complex and evidence heavy cases are managed thoroughly and efficiently.

Clients consistently place their trust in Lewis from the outset of a case and he is known for the strong relationships he builds throughout the course of his instructions. He understands that those who come to him are often facing the most difficult circumstances of their lives and he ensures that every client is fully informed, properly prepared and robustly represented at every stage.
