Peter Maley

From his recent role as Senior Partner to marshalling the firm through the global financial crisis and the Covid 19 Pandemic he has provided leadership and support to all staff across his varying firm roles.

Peter is an expert in his chosen field of Conveyancing. Whether in relation to domestic purchases/sales or commercial matters he has an unrivalled knowledge of his practice area. He will also regularly turn his attention to transfers of title, mortgage discharges, Wills and Powers of Attorney. Peter has also overseen a very successful executry/probate department alongside his property team.

For many years Peter carried out the dual role of Cashroom Partner and firm MLRO and AML compliance officer.

As a Consultant Peter continues to work very regularly in the firm and service his large client base across the West of Scotland. He continues to liaise with his IFA, mortgage broker and estate agency contacts and local businesses he has acted for over many years.

Peter is significant support to our new leadership team and often the go to person when a tricky legal issue arises for one of the team across his practice area.
The firm is delighted that Peter will continue to be associated with the business in the coming years as a Consultant.
