Your employer has a duty to provide a safe place of work (whether at your place of employment or elsewhere). Your employer must provide safe equipment; safe systems of work and provide you with adequate training and instruction.
Your employer must ensure that other employees or persons you are required to work with do not cause harm to you.
Most cases of this nature are covered by legislation. Your employer has a duty to identify and reduce all necessary risk to employees in the work place. Your employer must take care for your safety.
