Ian is a Consultant within the Criminal Court Department. He is based at our Glasgow City Centre Office.
Ian has over 20 years experience of conducting business in the criminal courts in Glasgow and elsewhere throughout the country. Having trained at Livingston Brown Solicitors he joined the firm in 1993 and was assumed as a Partner in 1996.
Ian specialises in criminal law and has conducted daily business in the High Court, Sheriff Court and JP Court throughout his career.
He has been instructed in relation to a number of high profile High Court cases in recent years and is regularly involved in the preparation and presentation of complex offences involving serious crime.
Ian has extensive experience in dealing with offences such as murder, attempted murder, sexual offences, firearms and drugs. He was part of the retained legal team dealing with offences arising from the G8 Protests in 2005. He was also instructed in relation to the Appeal Hearings in the case of the "Ice Cream Wars" killers.
