Driving Ban

If you are currently subject to a driving ban it may be possible to apply to the court to have the disqualification lifted.  There are specific time limits for such an application to be made, for example, after two years if the disqualification is for less than four years. A petition is made to the original convicting court and a hearing will take place where persuasive submissions will be made on your behalf.  The court will typically have regard to the applicant’s character, the nature of the offence and any other relevant circumstances.
